DIAGNODENT™

The Diagnodent™ is a laser system that detects cavities with much greater precision and certainty particularly in the tiny grooves of patient’s back teeth. Traditionally methods of detecting these cavities have been shown to be very inaccurate. In the past, small cavities would have been undetectable until they caused considerable damage to a tooth or worse still, some teeth had fillings that weren’t really necessary.

With the Diagnodent™, dentists get accurate diagnosis of whether decay is present or not and how active the decay process is. We can either monitor any suspicious areas objectively or if a cavity is detected we can treat it easily and conservatively saving tooth structure and expense.
